Disabling engine control unit trouble codes (DTC OFF).
The DTC deactivation is possible in almost all vehicles. Most vehicles have the problem that a warning light in the instrument cluster comes on for every small problem (engine control light) to warn the driver about small things that are not absolutely necessary and to put the vehicle in an emergency mode that results in reduced performance.
Of course, it is advisable not to deactivate an error code in the engine control unit, which is responsible for an important sensor and thus takes over important monitoring for reliable engine operation and is important for the durability of the engine.
